Default AQ with UTG raiser 1.10

Recently moved to the table, Should I be pushing this spot? Seems like a bad spot to push as he is raising utg, is this call alright? Once the flop came he insta-checked, which made me suspicous. How do you play this hand?

I would fold preflop to UTG raise.

Since you called I would check and see a free card. Evaluate your hand again on turn as you have position on villian.

You fold to the UTG raise? Why?
Why not call and reevaluate later or even shove ?
The UTG raise does not always mean AK, AA, KK, QQ, and anything else you're flipping, which with this stack size is the best thing you could hope for.

don't push, you have 14000, pot is about 6000?

i'd check cause he's in here with PP a lot, and i think he'll call you with that board.

I would fold due to no reads on villian. I dont like calling a raise with 3 left to act behind me with AQ. What do we do if someone behind us pushes ? Our stack is getting to the point where we cant call raises without starting to cripple ourself. Id prefer a shove to a call but again that would be highly read dependent on villian and I dont think we are quite in pushbot mode yet. Since we have no reads I still think I fold.

This may be too tight tho...thoughts ?

I shove most of the time. I'll find a fold here with a read sometimes but I never call with that stack.

Yeah this is a 1.10. Shove PF, he'll call with ATo, AJ, KQ, etc.
