EPT MC sounds like they recommend smart casual...only places that may require jacket/tie: the private/european salons at The Casino & mebbe a few other places...I mean, if you are going to a place like the Louis XV & plunk down several hundred euros per person for dinner/wine, you might feel better with a jacket/tie, MC redefines "balla" <<grin>>

Louis VX--That's the Allain Ducasse joint? Any idea how hard it is to get a reservation?

Edit: Jesus [censored] christ that's the most expensive menu I have ever seen.

I'd like Yellow Sub to report in on this. I can't imagine they'd stick to their normal dress code during this tourn. Jackets? yeah, right.

poeple are getting the famous casino in monte carlo and the venue where the tournament is held confused. yes, there is a strict dress code if u want to go play blackjack/roulette/bacarrat in the casino (jacket/slacks/pay a cover), but the place where teh MTT is held (at least last year) was a ball room in the hotel that we are staying at. there is a very unenforced dress code of a collar? in the ball room, but they dont care at all.

pm me w/ more queries, if u got em

So to get into the casino, there is no dress code, but to enter the high limit salons, there is?

Ok, then it's settled. I will be 2+2's ambassador in the high-stakes room. We will all contribute to the stake. Everyone start collecting funds for me to play baccarat with. I will be dressed to the "nines," with a jacket and a nice shirt (with cuff links), so you guys won't have anything to worry about (in terms of present-ability) as I take our collective stake on a run similar to Bob's in The Good Thief.
