you're a moron? [/ QUOTE ] ahh..someone needs a nappy. [ QUOTE ] 1. not everyone can be good at poker [/ QUOTE ] OK. Find another hobby instead of whining about it at 2+2. [ QUOTE ] 2. why would you tell the multi tablers to play better when you say they just win you money? [/ QUOTE ] playing against table full of HUD bots = +EV. HUD bots are by definition not able to get better. [ QUOTE ] 3. You act like you can't have a good session and win 3 BI even when the games are hard [/ QUOTE ] NO. I am saying the good sessions are still there to be had, you just have to adapt your game--OK. [ QUOTE ] 4. It isn't opinion, it's more of a fact that the games have gotten harder. [/ QUOTE ] and you asked if I was the moron..lol. Its fact is it..hahaha. [ QUOTE ] 5. They should still be beatable, but don't freak out on people whose winrate has changed [/ QUOTE ] if your winrate has changed that obviously means your game hasn't..eh..that logic stuff..bleh. [ QUOTE ] 6. Who is whining? [/ QUOTE ] LOL. Lots of posts about how poker is so hard now a days. People are quitting the game because its so hard. Cry me a river of tears...bleh. Become creative in your game or find another hobby. cheers Boon |

Phew, I was scared there for a second. This obviously proves that poker is still very profitable... [/ QUOTE ] Phew..I was scared for a whole minute. Now I feel better. I will go slooowwwlly with this--OK. SLOWLY. Poker is a game of skill--s-k-i-l-l. If your winrate has dropped over long term n # of hands then perhaps you need to focus on your game instead of whining so much--OK. Maybe..now maybe..its possible what you thought was not a leak against A9o all in donks--might be a leak against better opponents...just a maybe--OK...bleh. cheers Boon |

As one of those "hud bots" let me say a hud bot by playing 7x more poker and seeing 7x more situations then you is going to become more skillfull than you, sorry to burst your bubble. Also if amount of leaks of other players go down only so much an edge your skill can give you. Enjoy life in your hole where you play 200 hands a day and have yet to experience a swing....

While the games are still profitable for the best players, they are not nearly as profitable.
Poker profits come from somewhere. They come out of the stacks of inferior players. You MUST have losers in order to have winners, this is a fact. The games ARE getting tougher. There are less fish now than 2 years ago and the average caliber of player is higher now than before. The best players will still win, but their winrates will possible go down. The mediocre players who won before might very well be losers now. The rake and lack of abundant horrible players will make it so. There are still horrible players of course, but not nearly as plentiful as the Party Poker glory days. |

[/ QUOTE ] If you are one of the HUDbots that can devote the same attention to all 7 tables as you can to 1, then hats off to you. You are truly a gifted, intelligent individual. Most people's level of attention that they can pay to each table decreases as they add more tables. Therefore, more tables = Less attention paid to each one = more mistakes. If a newish learning player is playing more tables, he may see more situations, but he'll be so busy trying to keep his head above water with all the tables going on that he won't think enough about or even recognize those tougher situations. If the games you are playing in are more difficult, then the regular player will need to decrease his number of tables in order to maintain the same winnrate as the tougher games will require greater concentration and focus. |
