Those of you who are saying not to call the cops are retarded. The first thing Grim needs to do is call the cops. When they get a hold of Rick, chances are that he is going to fold like a house of cards. You need to establish that he stole the money as soon as possible, the longer you wait, the more it looks like you are full of crap.

You really dont have any other options. Hiring thugs is not going to do anything for you: the type of guys who will put his head in a vise are not going to split the money with you afterwards.

Too bad there is so much law and order in the USA, if this is Thailand, I am having him fed alive to pigs.

It's amazing how desensitized poker players are to large sums of money. That's a big enough amount that people and their families end up buried in the Nevada desert for.

If nothing else, this whole thing serves everyone an important lesson about credibility...

I skimmed the thread super quickly and see some of you are wanting to donate (or already have donated) money to Grimstarr. I would, but, I just can't see myself sending someone money who ultimately damaged his credibility so much in the past, in my eyes. If it happened, I feel sorry for him, but, because his credibility is not at a 100% level, I don't believe his words enough to feel it necessary to want to help him.

I remember him laughing about the coinflip stuff, being smug, not admitting any degree of wrongdoing in his actions when to anyone with any shred of morals could see what a dbag move he was pulling. To me, the lack of character shown then, makes me hold just enough weariness in believing anything he claims true.

I know people make mistakes, and sometimes it takes some maturity or time to realize them; but, Grimstarr has never demonstrated any growth. So, I just hope for all of you fledging your $$ support to him -- that you aren't getting scammed by someone who has knowingly scammed people in the past (see his coinflips) and laughed about it.

Sorry if any of this has already been said, it's a long thread and I've maybe read 5% of the words in it.

Yeah, this sort of makes me wonder why he would trust a roommate he met on 2+2 with 6 figures of money in his room, particularly when the Commerce has players' accounts and boxes and such. I'm also curious as to why he would take on a roommate in the first place.

The fact that Grim has called this thread "Never trust anyone part 2" should clue a lot of you into the fact that he's leveling you.
After all the first never trust anyone thread ended with everyone thinking - this brandi is really full of shiiiiiiit!
Has bluffthis chimed in yet, he's use spot on with these things.

I'm wavering from my initial sentiments. I still think instant kharma has paid him back and he doesn't deserve it, but, hey, gg life!

Sent 2500 to grimstarr. Least I could do in thanks for all the amazing strategy posts you've given me. Probably wouldn't be half the player without you, and this probably goes for most people so please donate. I'm also sending you a few of my best men to help in your search.
