Grifter,

"You wouldn't be so flippant if this had happened to one of your fanboys. You might not think much of Grim but this seriously sucks."

If this is real, the guy who did it is a real POS. But I have zero sympathy when a scammer/cheat/thief/etc. gets taken himself. Especially one like Grim who gloated about it and explained repeatedly how he didn't feel bad about it at all.

[/ QUOTE ]

I am honestly surprised by your stance here, i don't agree. When the whole flipping situation was the gossip of 2p2, Grim handled it about as bad as he could. Personally, i don't talk to Grim and i am not vouching for him here. But in all reality, saying that someone who once backed out on a flip, depriviing a winning player of like $1,000 in EV assuming a random hand when he had like 15 seconds to click call and could have panicked, is a scammer and deserves this is not accurate at all. Pussing out of a deal and taking stealing some sklansky $$$ is different than pre-medidating and stealing an amount of money that represents a very large percentage of someones net worth. In principal stealing is stealing of course, but there has to be some room for seperating here.

Basically, i wince reading a lot of Jame's posts. Losing whatever absurd amount of money he did flipping is clearly the result of an addictive gambler, not a controlled poker player. Given that he has to deal with that side of himself, i definitly don't think that then subsequently it's appropriate to say it's "funny" that a scammer got scammed out of half of his net worth because he [censored] up and was to much of a bitch to man up to it. The dude is [censored] 19. I spend a lot more time around kids that age then you probably do, and you probably choose to only associate with people that age (or any age) with a certain degree of maturity. Well man, sometimes 19 year olds act their age or younger, despite being good poker players. The kid dropped out of school to play poker and has really run into some [censored], and it's not funny IMO. Grim's response to the whole flipping ordeal was deplorable, but there needs to be some consideration for the scale of what is transpiring. I hope it's a joke because i would rather Grim be a douchebag than have this happen. If it's not a joke, i hope this [censored] gets caught and raped in prison. It's kinda hard to chime in when the thread is so big without being redundant, but really i just thought that this stuff was worth pointing out. You are a respected poster, and if you have already considered the things i am mentioning, i feel like that you should adress them in a post before your give the drones a chance to mindlessly echo your sentiments about how Grim deserves this etc...

nh ggbman. And Grim was a dick about the flipping. IIRC he never appologized, but eventually gave the dude a chance to do the same to him.

gg,

"your sentiments about how Grim deserves this etc..."

I still think it's pretty likely this is all BS and didn't happen. If it did happen, though, to be honest I think it's pretty funny. Grim doesn't "deserve" it based on what he did. However, he did rip someone off and then proceed to post basically "hahahahhaa I got that sucker and I'd do it again and it was funny hahahaha anything goes hahaha" showing no remorse and mocking those who said he was in the wrong. So, yeah, I think it's pretty hilarious if this POS got ripped off by an apparently bigger POS.

Grim gave a big FU SUCKERS to everyone who had issue with what he did. He made it very clear that he thought it was hilarious, had no remorse, and basically didn't give a damn. So, yeah, I think it's pretty damn funny that he got ripped off.

I'm saying 90% this happened.

It's just more likely that something like this would happen to someone like Grimstarr than someone like Grimstarr would make this up IMO.

I'm also surprised only 1 POTB comment has been made. Although it seems likely that in this case Grim may have wanted it there.
