Default Mason, when are going to get Ray Zee to write a book again.

Hi,

It's time for me to bug Ray again. He has been too quiet lately. I've been waiting for years for him to write his pot-limit hold'em book. What is stopping from doing it.

I think I know. It's that food he has been eating at CostCOs. Eating all those fatty sausages has been making him tired. Along with those Califoria Pizza Kitchen pizzas. I don't know if there is any hope for him.

Good luck,

Mark

PS. WOW! This forum has so many categories now. I'm glad poker is getting so popular. This explains why the tables have been good. If you answer my question below I expect an explaination, especially if you say no.

Ray is currently working on a Limit book with Dave Fromm (which I think is coming out in a few months).

As for PL/NL, I have no idea if he has any plans.

Hi Mark:

I voted no. We currently have five no limit cash game books in the pipeline, and I don't see the need for another one.

Best wishes,
Mason

I can't even imagine how big a LHE book would have to be to thoroughly cover the games today.

Okay, understood, but the OP wasn't talking about no limit. He was talking about pot limit. My guess is that pot limit probably isn't popular enough for 2p2 (whether or not you're swamped with other books), but let's say that in 5 years pot limit is as popular as no limit is now. Would you then consider writing a book about it or do you think that the concepts discussed in your no limit books apply enough to pot limit so as to make a pot limit book unnecessary no matter how popular it becomes?

Hi Mason,

I was actually interested in a pot limit book. Now, I know that you guys have covered the "Tournament NLH" books well with Harrington. But, I think we could use another Pot-Limit Hold'em book on the market. I have only read one that is good, but we could use one that covers bet sizing, and if you currently have 5 more no-limit books, I think you guys could include additional information in one of them concerning Pot-Limit. Thanks for your reply.

Good Luck

Mark

wtf, pot limit is just like no limit you just can't go all in. you don't need to a book to figure that out obviously.
