But I have zero sympathy when a scammer/cheat/thief/etc. gets taken himself. Especially one like Grim who gloated about it and explained repeatedly how he didn't feel bad about it at all.

Grim,
Don't worry about going to the police because "You were gambling underage." I am sure Commerce would be in more trouble than you, if you get in any at all. Additionally, it was stolen from your hotel room. It has nothing to do with the Commerce. I don't know how much police involvement would help, I doubt much at all. But I wanted to address the issue of "he can't go to the cops" that has been mentioned a few times.
