Please explain to me why so many people seem to hate Dids

I care because it's at the top of the forum I (and anonymous first time visitors) read. It just looks bad. I may well be a nit. As for a vendetta, I don't have one - I just find Dids self obsessed and unpleasant, not the kind of person you want representing this place. Anyway I've taken up enough of this thread, later.

When I first started posting here, I didn't really care for the BDids, as I found a lot of his posts confrontational and in-jokey.

As time passed, I realized that the Dids is actually pretty smart and that he has a good sense of humor, particularly about himself.

A fairly recent example of this is when I declared Dids persona non-grata in OOT, and Dids himself was basically the only one to get the joke.
