Yup, or keep them in a VERY safe place hah. In the case mentioned, she even admitted they were voluntary, etc. etc. and he was STILL charged. F-ed up country, I tell ya!

First of all you young whelp....I'm not old. My Mom is old.

And we make comments like that because it illustrates just how young and wet behind the ears you puppies are. You guys (and I'm grouping you in with all the 18-23 posters) remind me of myself and my friends at the same age, and my daughter and her friends now. It will never change. You reach that age and the world belongs to you. Everything is possible and the future is limitless. I envy you that actually.

People of my generation watch you with a combination of amusement, envy and sometimes anger or frustration. THe first thing I think of is just how young you are and it does make me think of all the things I have that I have had since before you were born, and shoes (only 1 pair too) make the point very well.

I don't want to come across as a bitter old guy either. To be perfectly honest I was very impressed with most of the young guys I met in Atlantis. It would be pretty easy for young kids with way more money than they should have at that stage of lifeto be complete jerks, and by and largemost of the people I ran into (and I include you Adam) were very nice young men.

I look forward to seeing you(and Gobbo, another nice one, although I don't get the bamboo reference) again in Monte Carlo.I will not be bringing my 1972 shoes however.

I respect old people like you david (i had to throw it in there lol) for a simple reason...you dont seem to have the "holier than thou" attitude of "i have been through life and have experienced more than you will ever know". You seem to treat the younger crowd (such as the gobbos and the Ajunglens) with great respect and in turn they respect you back. I once heard a great quote from my 7th grade teacher (yeah i know you are laughing but i think about it a lot) "If you expect respect, be the first to give it."

I feel that by acting mature around "older" people they will treat you as a peer as opposed to being treated like a younger sibling. All teenagers really want (and I am speaking as a teenager) is to be treated like adults. Granted; I know I am not QUITE an adult but I think I am...I am as old as I ever have been right now. Sorry to completely derail this thread; its a great "conversation" we have going

I think most of the young guys on this forum are incredibly intelligent and gifted young men david. I find myself constantly amused and entertained by them. After hearing so many stories of their adventures IRL, I'm nothing but impressed by this generation. They are much more far-sighted than they are given credit for. I don't feel any anger or frustration at observing them, (except for the piercing & tattooing thing they have going, lol.)
