Default \"Official\" Poker After Dark thread (Week 6 - Poker Commentators Week)

This week, it's "Talking Heads" week as the lineup features 6 poker commentators:

Michael Konik
Phil Gordon
Howard Lederer
Chad Brown
Mike Sexton
Gabe Kaplan

An interesting group, although I personally hope that Konik's not around too long.

I, for some reason, like Kaplan on this table.

[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] the table for already ripping into Norman Chad 5 minutes into show.

Lederer seemed bewildered by Sexton's reads on his hand with Brown but he was closer than anyone.

Last night's episode was really entertaining. There are people in another thread about this week that thought the line-up was terrible, that the table would be boring, but it's definitely not. And Konik plays much better than he commentates---although, come to think of it, it would be just about impossible to play worse than he commentates.

It also helps that he wore a shirt about a size to small, but yeah he looked jacked.

Does anybody have any explanation for lederer limping with TT in the small blind? I cant figure out what he was trying to accomplish.

I think he made a horrible laydown after brown pushed all in. The only way to have a good chance of winning is getting a big stack early on, and I think the lederer should have been able to put brown on the two overs and called. He definitly calls if he knew what brown had, which apparantly sexton had a better read on.
