I get sad when my PFR isn't approaching 12, let alone VPIP

I swear sometimes it feels like I reraise preflop more than the entire table combined

Hey, if you're making good $$$ I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Slowly work in some new hands in appropriate spots and see how you feel. Doesn't do much good to suddenly play 20/10 if you arent comfortable with it and don't know how to make it work.

I think that's what I'm trying right now.

Pokey once said that the difference between playing loose/tight is really not as important as playing aggressive as opposed to passive. On the surface that's common sense, but what I'm trying to say is that VPIP is not nearly as important as VPIP/pfr which should always be at least .5.

Good advice from Pokey, as always.

The 2:1 ratio of VPIP: PFR is a good measure IMO. I run 18/9, 20/10 give or take. It's hard to get too much higher than that PFR IMO at FR w/o starting to spew. However, if you are only a 12 PFR type, I really think you can get 7-8 w/o any trouble and it makes you much more difficult to read.

The 12/2 types are like an open book.
