Last night I played it for the 2nd time and once again took 4-5 hours to get deep but end up with little or nothing to show for it. I played tight and made a couple of double ups then get sucked out on against a runner runner straight. I just could not beleive I had played so well for so long to be beaten in that way. Then I started thinking is the tourney just too long to be worthwhile. I could have played 3-4 3 table MTTs in that time which is where I show my best profits. I really dont think I will bother with that event anymore as it lasts about 7-8 hours if you go all the way. Just wondered what you guys though about this tournament?

I think its the best tournement online to play if you want to learn poker. Cheap and deepstacks!
Variance is low, but its hardwork. To much work for my taste, given the pricepool. The 20 and 30 deepstacks are almost as fishy. Btw doesnt it take like 11 hours minimum. |

I've played too. It's a nice tourney structure-wise and there's a lot of truly awful players you can excert maximum abuse on with the deep stacks. That said, I think it's a waste of time.

I have never really liked playing more than one game at a time I hate being rushed into a decision because both have come up at once. Having said that it has been a while since I have tried so maybe I can manage it now.

I really like Stars Deepstack tournaments. Specially 30+3 dollars Fridays and Saturdays are my favorites. You can play with different styles early and couple of badbeats dont take you out, like so many times in those 1500 chip tournaments. Of course max. 10-11 hours is longtime to play, but I dont mind playing long pokersessions
