Detroit Greektown E Tables.. Questions Answered...

Hey guys i didnt wanna hijack the other post.. Ive played at both motor city and greektown on the e tables... i can answer more about the greektown ones seeing as im really close with glenn the pokerroom manager over there.. so heres the scoop

Greektown offers...

on one table its $50+10 or $100+20 Sit N Stay's.. Not SIt N Go's.. your allowed to sit there and play all day if you want.. and (yes VERY expensive fee)
Blinds go up every 5 mins.. yes 5 mins.. they start at 5 10/ 10/20/ 25/50 50/100 100/200 200/400 300/600

Glenn is trying to work out a new structure... thinkin about bumpin the blinds to 10 mins..

Starting tommorow one of the tables will also be a $25+5 Winner take all Sit N Go.. (insider info) lol i got the scoop with those blinds going up every 5 mins..

How many people are monitoring the e-tables for issues at all times?
- noone is sitting there monitoring.. theres a button on the e table where you can call over the floor if needed..

They also had a 2/4 limit option on the screen as well so that was new to see around... I wish greektown would get some limit on there tables that would b soooooooo sweeeeet...

Thanks. Do you know the starting stacks for the SNSs? 10 min levels is a must with that rake. Either that or reduce the rake to 10% with 5 min levels. The rake doesn't seem that bad at the 1/2, I am suprised. It is only $1 more than online. Do they take $1 out for bad beat?

How many etables do they have? How often do they get a $50-$200 game on the e-table?

They have 2 e tables.. and they get the $50-200 going everyday.. its a popular game...

The starting stacks are $1500T.. Also there is no bad beat on the etables..

They are Poker Pro. I'm pretty sure that the tourneys are 50+10 and 100+10, not 100+20. Either way, they are still 5 minute blinds. Also, for the tourney structure, the floor manager Ed claimed that it is exactly the same as PokerStars. I took him to mean with antes and everything.

That's really good to hear that they might go to 10 min. blinds. Ed gave me some stupid line about how "people want to finish a tournament in under an hour". That's pretty silly since they didn't even seem to start once an hour.

Ed is an A-1 [censored]. He came over to MCC to check out the E-tables there and almost got in an argument with one of the supervisors and one of the players there, until he remembered he isnt a supervisor at MCC.

The reason they want to shorten the blinds and to speed the tournaments is to approach the maximum hourly earn on the tables. Greektown and MCC are the two greediest poker rooms you will ever play in. Everything they do is based on raping the patrons.

We're considering putting one or two of these in our room and thought I'd see what brand they were using. Seems that people like these things.

There Poker Pros.. Bats.. your right... there 100+10s i mistyped.. but now they got a new game running... 2/4 Limit on the poker pros.. the 50s are on the other table.. the 2/4 limit kinda seems to be a success.. ed and glenn i dunno they seem to try and be doing the right thing.. but 5 min blinds are a crap shoooot.. also the G town daily tournys are to heavily favored for the winners.. in a 50.00 multi 3rd out of 100 only gets 350.. its sooo hard to find good tournies around here!
