birthday check........denied
I am a middle stakes limit player who mostly just browses on here due to my lack of ability to entertain with my words. But, I encountered a situation the other night that had BBV written all over it!
Brag: My 24th b-day was last week, and I gets lots of money! Beat: 10k check from my uncle was made out to my school this year instead of me because he thought he should help pay for my education. What takes this beat to the next level is that I don't even pay for my school, my parents do. Variance: I have gotten a check from my uncle close to this size every year of my life until this year, and they have always been made out to me. I actually thought the check was made out to me, and then 5 minutes later my girl thought she would point out that the check was made out to my college. BEAT! Is this BBV material, should I have popped my BBV cherry with this, or am I not worthy....

You probably meant since you were 18 or so which means you've been given around 60k up to this point for your birthdays. 60k or 240k you can go [censored] yourself for calling this a beat. I mean I know some rich kids but I have never ever heard of this. Are you they only nephew/niece he has? How much money is he giving out per year in bday presents!?!? What do you get for christmas (assuming you celebrate that holiday)??? I mean its clear your parents arent poor so its not like hes helping them out since they are paying for your school!! what is going on here please explain.
