Hero: me (pastexpiry) Badguy: THE_BAD_GUY I would like people's opinion on whether or not THE_BAD_GUY was a donkey to call my all-in. I was low stack for a pretty long time and when I got AKo, I had to go all in as it was the best hand I had in several orbits, and I was in "Harrington's RED zone". His limp in early position is not atypical for a donk. Knowing this, it is not surprising he made this marginal call. My guess is that he didn't notice whether you were playing tight or not. He had a decent stack and said, "why not?"

Just an FYI. It's considered bad form to post screen names of other poeple on the forums. There are tools available that can help you to get around this.

Who cares if this guy was a donkey? You should hope the game is filled with donkeys. The real question is whether you should have moved all-in with AKo when you were seriously short-stacked. It seems you should have moved all-in and hoped that the limper called with a worse unpaired hand. You made the right move. You should be happy that the guy called.
It's called gambling for a reason..... |

Yes, he is a donkey. In other words, he plays about as good as the average player online, and better than the average player live. Does it really matter?
BTW - Good play on your part this hand. How did you manage to get into this situation? |

I don't like his call w/ the Q here (esp. w/ with an early limper yet to act), but KJ or so would be enough for me.
