I doubt the players cared that Gold was counting out individual bills. They were probably just happy to have someone in the game who had never played at those atakes before.

I think doyle has come off badly in several episodes. Its a television show and there has to be some entertainment value. I sat to his left in a charity tournament and he was similar. no tolerance

Am I the only one who wanted to smash my tv when Gold was breaking up his $5k bundles and counting out individual $100 bills to bet with? REPEATEDLY!?!? You flaming flying DOUCHEBAG, for the love of God, toss the bundle out there and say ONE THOUSAND! The dealer WILL give you change, I promise. [/ QUOTE ] It reminded me of the "double down" scene in Swingers. |

In the middle of the episode this blazing hot cocktail girl walks by [/ QUOTE ] Bouncy..bounce..bounce. I swear that's the only thing I even remember from the show. Now, if only she and Jessica Alba would do a girl on girl scene. |

I realize that you have to mix up your play a LOT against these guys, but open-limping with K5 suited, and then being the lone caller of a raise when you're OOP? Huh? Are the fundamentals of a few of these players that bad? [/ QUOTE ] I saw it that Gabe decided to pick on the one guy at the table who was bluffable. Gold would have been a calling station. Chen was so predictable that Gabe took a chance on calling that raise and he knew right then he would be bluffing later in the hand so long as the flop was reasonable. His checking the turn with the A and then betting the river was meant to show Chen he had A with a weak kicker and that's exactly what Chen put him on. A player like Daniel or Todd or some others may have raised him there just to test that and then Gabe would have folded. This is why I don't like watching tournament donks play in HSP. |

In the middle of the episode this blazing hot cocktail girl walks by and Sheikhan says something like "how you doin'" ; quite funny. [/ QUOTE ] That was the best scene of any of the shows. Well, except for the fact that Sheiky was in it and spoke. |

I sat to his left in a charity tournament and he was similar. no tolerance [/ QUOTE ] Why do you think he's come off badly? I don't see it that way. In fact he's had some of the funniest lines of all. Remember the "peaches and cream" line from last year? He's shown as the elder statesman type and I give him credit for being willing to speak up on TV when he has a problem with the finances going down. These guys are not playing for nickels and dimes and even though Doyle has made lots of money he is a shrewd money manager and I am certain that he would not be willing to stake MM for $50k on just his word. |

What's up with Aleii? For the second straight season he has started out and said nothing and played tight and has brought zero value to the game. Putting him at a table with Ramden was stupid. Even Chen would be considered a AAA personality by their standards.
