To The Gold Defenders,

Have you reevaluated your position after this episode? Gold instacalls a c/r of over $26k on the turn, then thinks and folds the river. How do you justify that hand?

[/ QUOTE ]

Didn't he call the river after thinking for about a minute? If he'd folded then it would have been a good laydown.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes he called $30k on the river.

right after the doyle AA v jamie KJ hand where jamie called 30k, did jamie say “I thought you might have had AK”????

[/ QUOTE ]

"I thought you had AK, so it's a bad call either way."

Doyle complains about extending Jamie Gold credit. Interesting.

Or was he complaining about giving credit to Mike Matasow? Either way, interesting.

[/ QUOTE ]

Gold shows up with only 100k, losses most of it and asks someone to loan him 50k. Matasow volunteers and doesn’t say if he’s playing behind or not till someone asks. Mike should have said he's was playing behind immediately, and why is Gold coming short stacked and asking to borrow money. If Mike losses all his money and Gold doesn't pay him, who's resposible? Doyle wanted to get all that straight. He just didn't like the way everything was going down.

Last episode, Daniel and Doyle mentioned a game called "Georgia skins" either honestly or jokingly calling it the best gambling game. I've googled and searched 2+2 but cannot find out much about this game except that Corey Fuller, an NFL player, was arrested a couple years ago in a gambling bust while playing high stakes "Georgia skins".

Does anyone have any info on this game or any other names it might go by?

Am I the only one who wanted to smash my tv when Gold was breaking up his $5k bundles and counting out individual $100 bills to bet with? REPEATEDLY!?!?

You flaming flying DOUCHEBAG, for the love of God, toss the bundle out there and say ONE THOUSAND! The dealer WILL give you change, I promise.

Yeah, that was bad, and a clear sign that he's never played high stakes before.

I have to agree on this point. Everything he does is contrived and awkward. This move rated up there with pulling out the blueberries on PAD.

Would individual bills even play in this game if everyone else at the table didn't want to make his spewing experience as comfortable as possible?
