and seems rather incapable of permanently staying out of those games that he can't really afford.

It's too bad that you're likely correct because he obviously has some pretty sharp talent for this game.

Maybe a read-through of Barry Greenstein's book would get him on the right track discipline-wise.

I really don't know...and I am amused by the Kurosh threads just like everyone else.

But, for some reason, I'd also like to see him succeed and stop being his own worst enemy.

My poker roll is now 20k. KUROSH IS NOT GOING BUSTO. I don't know how a 175BB downswing equates to 30k when I'm playing 30/60 95% of the time. This is how you go broke on a 175BB downswing when you had a 1000BB roll for your level.

Go [censored] yourself you arrogant prick. You make hundreds of posts being an egotistical douchebag and I never say a damn thing to you. For some reason you seem to have a problem with me having better results and more attention than you. There is no reason for the [censored] hostility you have towards me. If you question it, put some money on the line. I am willing to go busto playing you headsup so pick any limit you want as long as I have one BB I will play you.

as kurosh's new bankroll manager, the idea of him tilting seems bad. however, i think his anger is warranted here. saying that you dont think he has talent is just retarded.

Honestly, I've never seen anything from him that makes me think he has a deep understanding of this game. His play that I have seen is much more suited for HU play against donks as he never seems to fold.

I'm fairly certain he is at best breakeven to a very slight winner in the 10/20 and higher 6max games long-term, and probably worse than that full-ring. In a HU situation against complete donks, I think he can hold his own precisely because he never folds and can get aggressive in that situation.

I have nothing against the man personally, I'm sure he's fun to be around and a great guy... but honestly, why does everyone seem to think he is such a good player? Because he has tilted money away at 75/150?? Doesn't make any sense. Hell, Schneids is willing to give the man his cell phone to play HU anytime he wants.

No, kurosh, I'm not going to play you HU. The fact you are even challenging me shows a complete lack of discipline that is going to get you screwed by this game eventually. You can be aggressive, you can run good, but I don't by any measure believe you are anywhere near the most talented 2+2ers here (and for the record, neither am I).

That's all I'm saying.

you don't have a "deep understanding" of the game if you think you can't win at 10/20 6max with a kurosh-like hyperaggressive style. that game is so fishy you can win at a significant rate with decent preflop play + postflop aggression. you don't even need a "deep understanding" of the game.
