samo, for a smart guy you've messed this up royally. Deposits, mods, right to decline, etc. Come on. That sh*t is beyond unnecessary.

Just say "We'll play this day at this time for at least X amount of hrs or until busted and don't want to re-buy." If you cancel a day you set up another. You do it until you played the agreed upon number of matches. Just make a point of saying you want it done by a certain date. Save for a match here or there, what could mess that up?

You play 10-15 matches and see who wins the most money. WTF is so hard about that? If you don't like 10-15 matches, pick another number.

You're acting like this is a huge, logistical nightmare. Just say let's get it done in two weeks, I can play tomorrow or the next day and get at it.

Upon further thought, I believe a larger amount that 10k (20k?) to be forfeited is closer to an ideal figure.

[/ QUOTE ]this is clearly more about pride than money and samo wants the match to most accurately determine the stronger player.

yall making a big deal about a 50k match.. i am interested on what happens though. should be fun if it actaully happens.. holla

[/ QUOTE ]

yeah this is a little ridiulous considering members of this forum regularly play 100/200 and 200/400nl HU.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why do you guys need to act all big time? 50k is a lot of [censored] money regardless of how big a few select people play from time to time.

james

[/ QUOTE ]

exactly james. especially from raptor who would in no way be playing this hu match vs either for this amount.

[/ QUOTE ]

u must be joking. i dont even know who you are, lol. holla

Without sounding cocky or whatever, am I the only one that thinks this grudge match sounds really dumb?

10-25 play for 50k? Why on earth would anyone want to engage in this bullcrap. Do you really want to waste hours and hours playing each other? I guess you all want to play for 2kBB because that will then become a game of skill? I personally think nothing will be solved here. I'd be much more interested in a lucksack HU grudge match for 100k at 200-400 NL. There'd be some skill involved, and it wouldnt be a collossal waste of time.

No one really gives a [censored] who is better. I'd just rather you all showed up and played for big money and showed off some fancy river CRs and thin calldowns, rather than some ridiculously lame grinding match that will be a function of who can stay sane the longest. No one gives a [censored] who is better, and if they do give a [censored] this wont prove anything, so stop wasting your time being nancies and gamble for some big bucks because you hate each other.

samo, why do you need all these stipulations to setup a hu match? if you think youre better than him than why not just setup a hu game without throwing around the word "freezeout"? then it would really be plain and simply about money, and not the egofest that youve turned it into. it seems that kkf is only putting up with your bs stipulations because he really wants to play you hu for his assessed ev. adding stipulations to these things is draining to both parties. what if kkf doesnt feel like playing for a while for whatever reason? now he cant because he has 10k locked up. thats retarded.

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe KKF wants to assess his skill relative to samo and that is why he is playing.

The 10k lockup will also prevent KKF from pulling a dick move to get samo's goat by quitting part way through and talking smack regardless.

...although he could always do it if he got up 30k early enough lol
