question for Piston/Laker fans/others

my understanding is Billups becomes a FA after this year, are the Pistons going to match anything to keep him there? and if not, are the Lakers going to go after him?

Man, those Marbury figures make me want to cry for Knick fans.

My God, look at the Spurs page.

Chicago's salary structure for Ben Wallace & Kirk Hinrich make a lot of sense to me. Each year they get paid less, not more. Why isn't this the standard? I mean, you know what you're getting immediately. The further you project out for a player, the less information you have on them (injury, committment, etc), so why commit more money then?

Can someone tell the Spurs and the Cavaliers that the game started nearly 2 hours ago.

Wow, after watching the Suns somehow beat Chicago - best home team record in the NBA - while looking like total ass, I'm finally convinced they're the best team in the NBA right now, Dallas possibly excepted. They had no business even hanging with the Bulls as poorly as they played (with credit due to Chicago's D) yet they pulled out a W...wacky.

Yessssss sixers beat the nuggets that is awesome.

Oh ya, the Bulls still can't beat good teams.

Dallas is steamrolling teams night after night.

Cavs over Spurs.

I LOVE THIS GAME.

I just watched the Mavs demolish the Sonics in the 2nd half from about 15 rows away from the court. Ship it.

Like the Suns, the Mavs are playing some delicious basketball right now. I can only hope that they both stay relatively injury-free and can take this level of play into the playoffs. That would be a hell of a showdown, as it stands today it would be the WCF.
