For my housemates, the worst would be almost any song by Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. They want to kill me any time I crank up that music in my room.

[/ QUOTE ]

Your housemates are stupid.

I don't have a song in mind for now, but when I was in high school one night I pulled an all-nighter to study for a big test in the morning and I put "Orion" by Metallica on continuous repeat all night. Instrumental with no vocals, so it wasn't too distracting, with just enough heavy areas to keep me awake. I can't listen to that song anymore without thinking of studying Latin for 8 straight hours though.

pff, I do this every time I record a new song, only for like 6 days in a row, and it's intense, concentrated listening, not passive listening.

On that note, listening to a song for 6 hours can be extremely educational, if the song has any substance to it at all.

There is a jukebox in the bowling alley at school.

Its something like:

$1 -> 3 songs
$2 -> 7 songs
$3 -> 15 songs

(fairly reasonably priced)

On several occaisions, right before my friends and I leave, I've dropped like $5 in there for nothing but the Boss crankin out "Born in the USA"

[/ QUOTE ]
