Is anyone gonna be at Turning Stone on thursday? I'm going with my dad and I'll probably play 10/20 limit if its being spread.

I play turning stone on a regular basis. It is very very rare that they get 10/20 up. It generally goes 2/4, 4/8, 15/30. once in awhile 6/12. If you are going on a sat. the 28th your chances are pretty good, if you are going on a thursday of whenever I wouldn't count on it. The always have several ssnl tables going. Usually 100 max, 200 max, 300 max. On weekends they will get 500 max, and if you're lucky the 500 min. game will get started. I hear that game is a wild ride

I'm going there this weekend for my first casino play.

What do you suggest I do and play there? I'd like to play in both tournaments (sat and sun morning). I also need 4 hours of play for the hotel (sat night).

Do you have any other suggestions for playing there?

I play pretty much weekly and would need more info before venturing a guess as to what you should play. The Sat tourney goes for a good amount of time (ends as late as 7) so you can get your play in if you get some cards. My only warning is to look at the blind structures. It always seems to go up very fast, but the play is generally loose/weak so if you're aggressive you can take down quite a few blinds. The table games are pretty fishy on the weekends (esp Sat) with soft 2/4, 4/8, 6/12, 100 & 200max games. I've only played 300 a couple of times and haven't ventured into the 500, so I can't comment on those games.

I'll be joining you for the Sunday $120 MTT. I like this tourney, but haven't had much success at it. The Sunday tourney tends to be a little more tight/aggressive so blind steeling isn't as productive.

You'll probably get comped at $1/hr so get a diamond card and swipe in. After the Sunday tourney you should have enough credit to get a decent meal. Buffet is solid but if you want to splurge, Rodizio is great. I'll be wearing my navy "A"rizona hat if you wanna talk cards. Good Luck.
