Pretty sure it's always live. And I don't think they killed that wildebeest or cape buffalo or whatever it is. I saw it lying there on the ground a few hours ago while the lions were resting under the trees.

I just watched a lion take a dump. Oddly enough it did not dig a hole and then cover it like a house cat.

[/ QUOTE ] from looking at the most recent posts, it appears to be a loop. female lion now eating some wildebeast - this would be consistent with the first post of this loop. then later they chill under the tree. now it looped back to the start and they're eating again. also my machine started buffering. |

No, there were only two lions eating the cape buffalo earlier. Now there are five or so.
Looks like three of them are males. |

I was hoping they wouldn't eat it so they'd be hungry at dusk and take down a zebra or something.
