I still think Arsenal can win. If you asked me to realisticly say where the teams will finish, thats where I put them.
I did state way earlier in this thread that since I am an American, and an EPL noob, in my mind Arsenal is not out until they are mathematicaly eliminated. I can't count out a good team until its impossible to win it. |

Also, as a Chelsea fan I am mystified why Ball-Lack is starting every game. Lazy make weight German bastiche. I would much rather we droped him then Shevy who at least works his bollox off every game. [/ QUOTE ] Good to see another Sheva fan. I was mystified when the announcers were talking about him being benched because of his bad performance. OK, maybe that's understandable. But benched for Robben? Robben has played worse than Sheva all season long. There is a reason that Sheva isn't scoring a lot of goals: although they are listed as a 4-4-2 team, they are almost playing 4-4-1-1, with Sheva almost always playing behind Drogba. Sheva has set up several of Drogba's goals (including yesterday's). He's playing fine. (I actually have no opinion on Ballack. I just have no idea who they'd replace him with. Joe Cole?) |

I wouldn't expect much of anything from United in the transfer window... we are bringing back 7 of our young players from various loans... all of whom are expected to be competing for spots on the bench and occasional playing time... Rossi, Lee Martin, Phil Bardsley, Chris Eagles, Danny Simpson, Johnny Evans, and Chinese striker Dong Fangzhou They are not being brought back to languish on the reserve team... actually I would expect to see Silvestre, Richardson, and possibly Wes Brown to be sold [/ QUOTE ] I'm very much looking forward to seeing bardsley come back. I've been very impressed by him every time I've seen him play. I hope we don't sell richardson as I think he can still contribute and turn into a good player, as much as I love brown, he needs to go, he's not ManU caliber. I've always thought Silvestre was crap, so I'll jump for joy the second his ass hits the door on his way out, whenever that is |

Sounds like Wenger could be bringing back one or two players from loan as well. Ali is probably gone, and I think he is planning on bringing back Bendtner from Birmingham and possibly Stokes from Falkirk.

3-0 with Rooney on the bench for 2/3rds of the game plus a goal of the year candidate by Scholes. Already 2-0 for Chelsea and it's still in the first half so I don't see the top of the table changing much.
