I'm a big fan of King Crimson while tripping. I can't really explain why.

The Obvious
Dead, Phish,Allmans, Jimi. But grab some live stuff much better then albulm . High quality audio with some surround sound will "bring you" to the concert The Doors, Beatles "Yellow Submarine Albulm" one you might not listen to normally Metal? Tool, man it's cool just to sit there and rock out to it , get to drum sticks and beat on [censored] System of a Down EDIT : I also have to backup the Primus vote, along those lines you can go with Oysterhead stuff too (Trey of Phish and Les from Primus as well as Stward Copeland from the police) |

grateful dead thread over. [/ QUOTE ] There was a reason people followed them on tour, saw them hundreds of times, etc., and it wasn't because they were snappy dressers. Grateful Dead + Acid = "real good time". But like MrKilla said, find some live stuff. LOTS of great free shows over at archive.org. They have a 30 year back catalog, which is intimidating, so feel free to PM me if you want a few suggestions. |
