I've been slowly working my way into the $10 FR game. My UB account is up over $40 since the end of November. Half of that has been hands like this one at my new limit.

I thought this was pretty standard for full ring. The EP raiser I was pretty sure would not hit it again. Hands like this usually play themselves but if anyone has any ideas Im open the them all. Villian had QQ and when the K hit the river he raises me.

WTF does nit mean? Weak tight?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think it means very tight. (I would be the biggest nit on 2+2 if thats correct) Im not sure about the weak aspect though. I hope my total AF of 3.25 means Im not weak-tight. I have many holes in my game and I hope I didn't just find another one.

cant find it now but earlier in the thread there was talk of monitors! im thinking of buying a samsung 204b, is it worth the £300? or are there similar but cheaper options that'll be just as good?

[/ QUOTE ]

It's what I use, works well....1600x1200 is awesome with no overlap for 4 tables.

[/ QUOTE ]

Agreed, I have 2 204b's and could not be happier.

[/ QUOTE ]

These are great value, I used to think my old monitor was nice but this one really shows it up. I will get another soon as I get past ALMOSTO. I currently use the 204 next to my old one, I play pokah on 204 and use other for the surfing, pt etc.

So the SB here called every single PF raise I made, no matter what position. Every one.

UltimateBet
NLH
Blinds $0.10/$0.25

Stack sizes:
Hero $39.20
SB $55.45
BB $24.65
CO $17

Pre-flop: Hero has 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
CO folds, Hero raises to $.85, SB calls, BB folds.

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($1.95, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.50, SB calls.

Turn: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($4.95, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $4, SB raises to $8, Hero re-raises to $28.95, SB goes all-in for $53.10, Hero calls all-in for $36.85. SB is returned $16.25 (uncalled).

River: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($78.65, 2 players)

Result:
SB shows T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], a pair of tens.
$2 is raked from a pot of $78.65, Hero wins $76.65 with three nines.

Wow. OK, that was fun, but jeez the variance with some of these guys is sick. Take a look at this last session:
