Default Top Pair fold.

FT HO 15/30. Guys just joined, seems not good at O8, no HE read.

I raise K9 in CO, he 3 bets.

Flop KJx with frush draw.

I c/r/call.

Turn J I c/c

River Ace I c/f

how good/bad is this?

I was paying off on any non ace river. Even on a flush card. How bad is that?

I like your line. My only worry is that you may have sold him on you having a FD, which would induce him to bluff the river scare card, but he has to have gotten pretty OOL preflop for that to even apply, since pretty much all PPs are going to check behind with relief on the river.

I like calling down any non-ace, though(except K duh).

I agree with DD, we are now chopping often enough to make calling the riv profitable.

Dean,

If you can't call the river when the ace hits why are you calling the turn that pairs the J? What hands do you think he's 3x'ing on the flop?

So I didn't see that he 3bet the flop, I thought you just checked the turn for pot control / since he'd bet PPs or whatever / to represent a FD. Given that he 3bet the flop the A doesn't change anything on the river so I'd call.

I feel like he was planning to check behind but sucked out a lot.
Do people actually 3bet good hands HU in position at these limits? I know nobody does @5/10.
