this is pretty basic probably. villain is TAG so probably has a decent hand here. should i fire on the river to rep an ace?

Once you check that turn, you can't fire the river.

I completely agree, in fact, I would say I fire the turn here 75% of the time. The remaining % would be if I very certain villain wouldnt fold. As played, dont bet the river, I wouldnt believe you, and I dont think most others would either.
