I know that, contentless. But I think Brown might have some mechanical problems.

Default Game 16

Yankees hold on (4-3) for the 2nd straight win over the Blue Jays today. Gordon and Riveria were both shaky but got the job done.

They are 7-9 exactly 1 game worse (8-8) than they were last year at this time. So much for the sky falling.

I watched the game on MLB TV. I thought Gordon looked good. Rivera had some pitches that were hit hard for singles, but I think he'll be fine.

Bullpen's numbers tonight: 3.2 IP, 3 H, 2 BB, 2 K, 0 ER.

I'll take it.

Gordon looked better, although he did benefit from the questionable interference call which returned the tieing run to 1st.

However you are right things are looking better, and hopefully a sign of things to come.

mlb.tv kicks ass.

I thought it was hilarious when they showed Sheff's interference no-call vs. the interference today.

The Blue Jays announcers didn't sound too happy. I didn't get a good look at what Sheff did though so can't say for sure if he didn't interfere.

Default Game 17 Another Kevin Brown disaster?

Brown's second start of season against the Rangers 3-0 (texas) in the 1st. He seems to be having some control problems with his slider and his fastball is getting crushed.

mlb.tv.

In any event the Yankees lost 5-3 falling to 7-10. I didn't get to finish the game but it looks like Brown did settle down some. Perhaps a positive sign of things to come.
