For Irie's SNG party you have to know him. I'm not sure about the HU challenge.

On a serious note I think this post summarizes the sttf community quite nicely. The whole idea of no matter what happens in this poker world where in it together, even when I suck out on you.

It was nice to heat the update, beef, I really missed you at the last HUC and was hoping you could make it out here this month.

But it sounds like you have things on track and I look forward to your next Vegas trip, which should be soon. Best of luck in your new career.

PS- your spelling wasn't all that bad for a first draft.

Last night I went to Lucinda Williams concert where her father, a poet, read as well.

From one of his poems:

"Have compassion for everyone you meet, even if they don't want it. What appears bad manners, an ill temper or cynicism is always a sign of things no ears have heard, no eyes have seen. You do not know what wars are going on down there where the spirit meets the bone."

Im very happy for you Beef. You have always kept it real and thats the reason I always liked you. I wish you nothing but success.

And remember if you ever make it out to Ann Arbor make sure you get a hold of me, still want to grab a few beers. Oh and, Columbus is a whore!

I'm happy for ya, but remember, the same demens that were in school and poker are there too. When it stops being exciting and starts being rutine remember to work at staying focused and motivated. You have a pretty good grasp of what your challanges are, so watch out for em and work past em and you'll be fine

And I will add my little piece of advice.... you can always play poker on the side! [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

You're one of the first people I remember from when I first started reading these forums over two years ago. its good to hear you're turning things around for yourself. The most important thing is to be happy, enjoy what you're doing and surround yourself with loving people. From another wolverine, best of luck beef, keep us updated.
