I go to school at Montana State University Billings, I'm 20 years old and this is my 3rd semester here. Finals week is the week of Monday, the 11th. We got 22nd-26th off for Thanksgiving. I didn't do an ounce of homework. I just played cards and had a good day on Sunday betting on the NFL.
I don't have it very bad off at all. Due Monday, Dec. 4th. Business proposal presentation, with PowerPoint and all that good stuff. It's a group of 3 so it won't be that bad. Then the actual proposal itself is due on the 11th. That's my final for Business Communications. I have an HHP(health and human performance) class that we actually lift weights in, but we do have a final that should be cake. Finite Math: I have one more test over integrals. Not really sure how to do them yet but I have a week to figure it out. All we have left in the class is a group worksheet and a takehome test. At the moment I have an 88% in the class, so if I get a B on the last test I'll be happy with a B in that class and not have to take the cum. final. Intro to Computer is a cake walk. I have the class at 8:00 AM and have probably made it 4 or 5 times the whole year. I just turn my assignments in via e-mail. The final test is just over PowerPoint. I have an 83%, not too bad for never showing up and having your attendance be 10% of your grade. Today I was stressing out because I had a cover letter and resume due for my business communications class. But, I heard other people talking and realized that I had it easy and should stop complaining and stop taking things for granted. I found myself playiing 2 tables of 100NL at Bodog in the computer lab that I work in at the school. I got QQ and doubled up the 2nd hand, so I finished my orbit and quit, finished my cover letter and resume, my intro to computers homework, and feel 10 times better and way less stressed out. All I have to worry about now is the take home test for math, and getting that darn business proposal done. Oh ya, and making up a workout log for the whole semester so I can get some credit for that. So, lets hear what you guys have to do before Christmas break. |

Senior at Cornell. I have a lot due coming up but I work well with my back against the wall.
6 page paper due tomorrow at 10:10 on the economic effects of differing immigration policies. We are not supposed to go over the page limit and must include in body graphs that count toward the 6 pages. I have not read up on the subject nor have I started the paper. 6-10 page paper due at 11:40 on Wednesday where we were given a 3 page hypotetical labor law case and we are told that the employer challenged a union authorization vote. We are supposed to argue both sides of the case using cases which we are to look up on our own. We are supposed to decide how the judge would rule and explain the justification (standard law school type paper.) I have done minimal research on the cases to be used. I have not written a word but do not anticipate this being too tough. 10 page statistics in class presentation and paper due on thursday at 1:00pm. It has something to do with multiregressional analysis or something... We were supposed to be working on it for a couple months, I have not selected a topic nor do I have any idea how to do multiregressional analysis. I am not excited about this. 25-30 page paper due on Monday on why Mexican illegal immigrants in LA are more likely to join a union and start a union than other minority groups or whites. I have to read a few books and do some independant thoughs on the topic. I have not written or read a page but I do not think that this should be too difficult. I also have two exams coming up in 2 weeks but I am not sure when they are. I am going to take a nap now and then I will probably be spending a good amount of time on 2p2 for the next few days. |

[/ QUOTE ] Obv I meant multi variable regression models... the fact that i couldn't even think of what my project on might be a bad sign... If anyone has a good idea for what I should be examining (could be anything except for the factors that influence baseball players salaries as the professor said he has seen that project done too many times) I would appreciate any suggestions. Easily avaliable data sets such as info from the census would be preferred |
