Probably just grab dinner and maybe check out a couple bars. [/ QUOTE ] Ok, then I would suggest Canton or Inner Harbor. The Inner Harbor is a pain in the ass. It's expensive and there are always a ton of people out around there. Canton is less expensive and has a better crowd IMO. |

Serious answer: Brewer's Art [/ QUOTE ] Yes, and the surrounding neighborhood. Itinerary: (Assuming Weeknight) Brewer's Art for happy hour Dinner at Dionysis (fine dining), Minato (sushi), Sasha's 527 (tapas) or The Helmand (Afgan) Drinks at Club Charles, the Owl Bar at the Belvedere, or the basement bar at Kumari's (or if you like more clubby atmospheres: XS, Red Maple and the 13th Floor. If you want a real (read: White Trashi) version of Bmore go to Hamden: Buy some arty porn at Atomic Books and a novelty record at True Vine... shop for junk at one of the junk stores, eat at Suzie's Soba or Golden West, then drink heavily at Dimitri's, the Hon Bar, and Holy Frijoles. Hopefully it'll be karaoke night at Fraziers, if they still have that. Don't go to Fell's Point, whatever else happens. |

Everything I need to know about Baltimore I learned from David Simon.
As such 1- score some smack 2- get shot 3- find somebody to say "maybe could" "too" (in that very b'more specific accent) and "SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET". |

People go to the basement bar at Kumari? I eat there all the time but the basement looks like a tiny dark little bar with 3 stools.
Red Maple is good though, definitely second that one. Brewer's for dinner/beer and Red Maple for drinks/dancing seems like a good plan. |

[/ QUOTE ] It is tiny, but really awesome for some reason, at least on the random night I was there...full of drunk art students and wizened crazy cab drivers. Red Maple is way to pretentious for me, plus you can't really dance there. If OP truly wants to get his club on, Sonar on friday night has been berry berry good to me. But it's a long cabride from Mt. Vernon. The downstairs bar at Dionysis rules too. |
