all draws got there which is why there's no point in check/calling imo. i was just wondering if shove was the correct move.

i started running bad and started doubting my play ...typical

People where saying that all the draws missed. My response was that all the possible draws actually hit (8T/68) although there unlikely. I probably didn't make this clear.

If he's calling down my flop and turn bets with T8 or he calls preflop and flop with 68 then more power to him - he gets to double through.

TT-KK is way more likely - we have 1/2 PSB left on the river - shove - it's not close.

That flop is about as dry as they come.

Villain is 39/11/.6 over 70 hands

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($72.65)
Hero ($108.80)
UTG+1 ($62.50)
MP1 ($67.65)
MP2 ($136.60)

SB ($6.50)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

River: ($65.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero???

Villain only has approximately 31 dollars left at this point. Are we check folding/check calling/shoving? If so, why?

[/ QUOTE ]

So here we have UTG+1 with an aggression factor less than one and $62 left. You're playing full ring against him. It's entirely possible that he is slow playing 1010-QQ in, so factor that in. You don't know how these guys plays, he may be afraid that you have AA and just can't get rid of these cards. Don't ask me why.

He may have A9 here. Or J9s, 109s. Weirdly played hands by a guy who's on tilt, passive, thinks you're full of it.

Everything else got there. I wouldn't say this is a "read dependent" hand at this point. 33BB and you've already committed yourself. So bet because many hands you do beat will call you but may check behind if you don't.

Because villain is so passive (by his stats), I say pushing or check/folding are the only options. He's not going to push when checked to with anything you beat.

Shoved and he showed 88. It's ok though I'm happy with my play
