I often raise the flop here to try to define where I'm at.

If he just calls I then b/f the turn.

meh, as far as raising the flop I do this as well sometimes but it is more to just mix up my play against known opponents.

Often times I just call this type of hand PF against unknowns looking to raise a lot of flops. Postflop looks fine to me.

This is an ugly way to get to a 9BB pot. I like call preflop, c/r most flops better than risking cap with 44.
