I don't follow ManU too closely as was revealed earlier. What have they done with the money? Have they picked anybody up? Has Sir Alex said anything about this winter?

we picked up carrick as our main summer pickup. We also had 12m GBP from the Obi-mikel situation. The rumor that has been around for the past couple of seasons is that Torres is due to join ManU. Juve won't let Trezeguet leave them, so I don't know what the plan would be for any strikers in the window as Andy Johnson got snapped up by everton in the summer

Has Ruud been playing well all season? If so, why didn't he play in the World Cup? (IIRC, he was stuck on the bench most of the World Cup).

Yeah, saw that today. Messi should be out for a few months. Jesus Navas for Sevilla is also out a similar length.
