Both have been discussed at length here. Try a search.

Miller's and Slotboom's DVDs are both excellent.

Miller's are on fixed-limit hold 'em, and they go beyond what's in SSHE (rather than just re-hashing the same material).

Slotboom's DVDs are focused mostly on helping players make the adjustment from fixed-limit hold 'em to no-limit hold 'em. The fourth DVD take ths opposite tack, helping players make the adjustment from no-limit hold 'em to fixed-limit hold 'em.

The quality of the material on both sets of DVDs is quite good.

When I bought Slotblooms new book it included a dvd which had clips from both Ed's and Rolf's dvds and both were very interesting. I've read reviews and most people seem to be happy with the material.

Would it be best (cheapest)to purchase these through Amazon or through a different source?

I purchased the Rolf DVD set through pokergurus.com
This is the cheapest I've been able to find it. You may find it cheaper on ebay for a used copy.

As for the content of the material it's quite good and it's like the previous posters said a primer for limit players to translate into no limt. That said it has quite a bit of valuable information even if you're already playing nl. So, I'd have to recommend them.

Rolf goes into a lot of examples on topics like stack size, bet size, position relative to the raiser. I'm sure I'll be referencing these over and over.

You claim it is for NL Hold'em cash games. Is this true? I thought it was for tournaments (like everything else seems to be).

Slotboom never specifically discusses tournaments, as far as I can remember. It's mostly all about deep stack play.

He makes it clear at the very beginning tht he does not play tournaments so he does not discuss tournaments.

I bought it from conjelco. Not the cheapest, but conjelco is a good "poker supporter" and worth the extra $ to me.
