TheMetetron:

1) Wrong. The funds have been out of my bank account since the 12th...I could post screenshots to show this, but they aren't very reliable "evidence" so I won't bother.

2) Read the thread.

3) Eh

Beyond that, the "going to bat for us" line is getting old…is that like your “Stay classy, San Deigo” sign-off? If you'd like, I can just go ahead and stop emailing my affiliate manager over at Party Partners (since I've now sent him 24 emails since Oct 16th regarding this issue, I'm sure he'd be more than happy to see our correspondence come to an end)...accept non-payment...and deny all processing ‘Luck claims. Then, everyone can thank the almighty E.Z. - sounds like a good way for me to make you some new friends.

keep in mind there are many people that have been more than patient with you through this whole mess. there are better ways to deal with one poster if you're really aggravating over this, like maybe just ignoring the guy? Your image is already tarnished, your responses to him aren't accomplishing anything. And E.Z. has no obligation to me, trying to shift the blame is absolutely ridiculous.

I've got to agree with those frustrated in lack of updates as to what exactly's going on. I've been following on a day-to-day basis, and the few updates we get are vague and rarely explaining what's been done since the last one.

There are two possible explanations for no updates:

1) FON is lying to us about everything and plans to walk away with the money. He's just trying to drag people along until most people forget about it.

2) NETeller is actually being a pain in the ass, and with the funds not credited to his NETeller account yet (due to them not having whatever required information), there really is nothing to update us with.

Either way, I don't like it, but asking for updates really isn't going to get us anywhere. The only real update left is either:

A) NETeller credited the account with the money and everyone will be paid within 24 hours.

or

B) FON finally makes a run for it and we take his eternal silence as the "update."

At which point, everyone scrambles to find out who is going to sue him. No one steps up to say "I did it" except for one guy, unknown to the forum and only registered for 3 days. His only posts are in this thread. We ask him for "updates" on the litigation process only to find that the responses are similar to those of FON's. "I'm waiting to hear back from my lawyer." "He won't pursue this until the check clears."

Conspiracy theorists will say that this person seeking legal remedy is none other than FON himself posing as this unknown individual. They will be correct.

E.Z. will continue to quote posts incorrectly, stamping times and dates of message fragments, ultimately not helping the situation.

justinag06 will emerge to say that he has been paid via NETeller and that everyone should just calm down because FON will probably pay everyone.

Weeks later, NETeller disallows transactions from U.S. players. "What will this mean for our CCU payment? What if FON finally decides to pay? How will he do it?"

A respectable, geeky 2+2 member creates a long post citing the amount of time people have spent in this thread (on average) multiplied by the average 2+2er's win rate in poker. He calculates the opportunity cost of the time put into this nonsense and applies a market rate of interest to conclude that the cost of the time put into this thread is > $250. He calls us all pathetic losers, we accept that he is correct, and we go on to live our lives short of a $250 payment.

The end.

OK guys, anyone still think he's going to pay up? Let's make an example of him to help us all now and in the future.

Humor me. Black out essential details (account information/address), but provide the rest to us in entirety. But do so quickly or ignore the request or it won't be taken as reliable.

It would take me less than 5 minutes to [very effectively] falsify both documents; still want them?

Ehhhh sure, why not?

At a time of such high stress and other crap you're having to deal with, a little arts-and-crafts project might just help to lower the old blood pressure!

I'm not going to get into a discussion of the various levels of stupidity that have been demonstrated in this thread as it would take months. However, I will respond to two particular matters:

1. If he was honestly trying to screw everyone here, why would he still be answering messages and engaging in this conversation?

2. No one has sued or is going to sue over this. Anyone that claims they've hired a lawyer is either lying or incredibly stupid. Do you have any idea how expensive it is to bring a lawsuit? Plaintiff's attorneys are typically paid on a contingency fee basis, which means that they get a % of the money you recover in the lawsuit if you win. What lawyer is going to take a case where his pay is going to be $83.33? Even if you managed to collect 100 different people who wanted to sue, bringing the total available funds to be collected up to $25,000, you still aren't going to find an attorney willing to bring the case as the cost of prosecuting a lawsuit involving that many parties spread out over a number of different states and countries would dwarf the potential funds you could recover.

Just stop the stupidity and let the guy get to work on trying to get the funds to us. While I was one of his most vocal critics early on and am still a bit pissed that one of the offers a buddy completed was not honored as it was yanked by the site, he has paid out thousands and thousands of dollars to people on this forum over the last few months and deserves at least a little bit of credit.
