Tough spot. If you're gonna find a fold, it's definitely going to be on the flop. His most likely holdings are probably AK or JJ (maybe AJ/AQ but less likely), so I lean towards a fold w/o reads.

I push flop I think. AJ and JJ are the hands i'm most afraid of, maybe 55.

[/ QUOTE ] why would AQ check raise the flop? .. if u have 2 pr aq and know your opponent has AJ or AK, why wouldnt u flat call ... at best he is only drawing to 3 outs and you can probly get him all in without the checkraise. i think its much more likely he has a set. |

I don't think a set wants to scare off AK/AJ/AQ/Ax on the flop.
I think AJ is the hand villain would play it this way. What happens to me in this spot is I call the turn AI, but just know in my bones I'm dead. Inevitably, that feeling is right. So in the heat of battle I would call like a donk, but in the cold light of day I'm 95% sure you're toast here. |
