I'd been moved to this table about 10 hands ago and have already seen villain reraise all-in preflop with J7s up against KK and hit a J7xx7 board to double-up.

Villain either has a set of aces or he's pretending he does. You're beating nothing here except a bluff and he has to think you've got two pair or better.
FWIW, I just call his silly flop bet. |

I think he has you beat. When someone bets weakly then pushs over a raise he has a good hand. Is he doing that with A6? Maybe, but I really don't think so. Fold and be happy you made a good laydown.

[/ QUOTE ] So you're suggesting he slow-played aces preflop? That's some read based on a quarted pot bet followed by an all-in on the flop. What about me being ahead to hands like AT which I would have thought was within his range? Cheers Vinyl |

I'd raise a bit more, but I'll not get too excited about it. Yah, call. If he's on JT, hit one of your four outs.

QQ, KK, AA. Granted, if this is the $50 at 10pm, then it possiby does have the highest fish to buyin ratio anywhere on the interweb but even here, he surely can'tbe expecting you to fold anything you've just raised? |

And I didn't hit one of my 4 outs But I'm still not convinced it's a certain fold, especially given the odd hand he played earlier. |

[/ QUOTE ] You see a lot of big hands limp reraised on Crypto and it's probably a +EV play with ten minute levels, big antes and lots of fish promoting aggressive play. The hand itself is worth a stove when he's min-pushed. This certainly will be total nonsense a certain % of the time, but on the whole we've got to see this as two pair or better at least 90%. However, I'd suggest that I am the 2+2 exert of Crypto donkaments - my peers here wouldn't be seen dead in such low company - and I'm sure that just calling his tw*t bet on the flop is the way ahead in this hand. No to say that I don't do it this way and not to say that I haven't seen 77 when I have. |
