I realise I have joined this rather late, I wish I'd known about it earlier!.

O-O is the only sensible move here I think.

Obviously we have no intention of castling queenside;

There are no immediate threats we need to worry about and;

if we leave it, 14 Qa4+ will stop us from castling, or at least make it very awkward (14. ... Nd7 is hardly an attractive option!)

13. ... Bxd4, 14 Qxc4 leaves his Queen on a very nasty diagonal and with a multiple attack on our pawn and bishop.

We have nothing to fear from a3 as that Knight is looking awkward where it is and could do with being pulled back anyway.

In short, IMHO O-O is a no brainer.

It's possible 0-0 is a no brainer but we've got issues, like the pawn at b7 is weak.

You can toss in 0-0 but after that are moves are going to really decide the flow of the game...

For example...

13. Kxg2 0-0

White has (at least) 14. Nf3 or 14. Be3

With either we have lots of choices.........

14. Be3 we can play Qd6 or Qc8 seems semi reasonable...

14. Nf3

lots of choices for black h6, Qd6 or even d4

On first glance 14... d4 looks fishy but we can back it up with we are not folding plans....

14. Nf3 d4
15. Rd1 Qd7
16. Na4 b6

Soon it might be time to get dirty and do some real work....
(hahaha.. not going to happen...)

I think after castling (not sure whether you are advocating any other move) our priority should be to retreat our Knight at b4 so as to free up our bishop. Thus Curtains moving Nf3 would be welcomed by me. Gotta go more analysis later
