have seen crocodile hunter and he has never taken down a 20 footer and he always uses a net or rope to subdue the croc. Without using any foreign objects, the UFC fighter would be helpless.

[/ QUOTE ]
Granted I've never seen him take down a 20 footer either. But I have seen him down a croc without nets or rope and then let it go.

Okay, let's say he is. So he puts the croc in a full-nelson or whatever, he has the croc in some sort of submissive position, now what? he still has to figure out how to kill the damned thing! If it was a timed match than I think the UFC guy could probably pull a draw out of his ass, but if someone has to die its gonna be him every time.

[/ QUOTE ]
The dude has all the time in the world after he gets a hold of that crocodile. I'm sure he could think of something. I suggest going after the eyes. I need to look at the OP but perhaps the ring or whatever this is taken place in could be used against the croc to take hime down. Maybe there is a way just to choke him out.

[/ QUOTE ]

You don't think a 20ft, 1200 pound crocodile could shake him off of his mouth? I think you are underestimating how huge and strong these things are.

I'm pretty sure that crocs build up some sort of adrenaline when they are fighting, and especially when they are pinned and trying to wrestle out. After a few minutes of this they go into some sort of state of imbolization/extreme stress.

If the ufc fighter could hold the croc for long enough for this to happen, he can kill it pretty easily.

Clark. What is the circle made out of? Steel walls? A fence like UFC style. Surrounded by water?

lions kill the old, young, sick and injured. and they hunt in prides. one on one, the elephant wipes his ass with any of the competition...all of them if he's had chili.

Found this on some animal website:

[ QUOTE ]
The African Elephant has an estimated life span of 60-70 years in the wild and can live up to 80 years in captivity. They are social animals. The elephant lives in a matriarch society and are very protective of their young. Juvenile or full grown elephants are not considered to have any natural predators; however, their young sometimes fall victim to lions. It has even been documented that when water is very scarce (water holes less than 4 inches deep), a pride of lions will attack and kill a full grown elephant. It is not, however; a common occurance. Elephants generally die as a result of poaching or of old age. Sometimes size does matter. Elephants are the largest land animals and have a gestation period of about 22 months. Males can reach a height of 10 feet and weigh as much as 13,000 pounds.

That's one of the things about the croc though, it's muscles that it uses to open its mouth and move it's neck aren't near as strong as other parts of his body. It's been said before you just gotta keep his mouth shut

Lets say it's just giant cement walls like at the zoo when you look down on the lion pit.

For the hippo v. tiger match I pretty much just gave it to the hippo because of its giantness.

this guy just doesn't look like he has the drive to take down the hugeness of a hippo
