OP,

I'm a big fan of the Halloween series (yes, even H5 and H6). Do you think Rob Zombie's version of Halloween is going to be worth a damn or just standard remake material?

Tennenbaum,

Important question: Are you a fan of "Army of Darkness"?

Guys, sorry for the threadjack, but I have a pressing question:

A girl of above-average attractiveness has posted pictures of herself on an Internet message board I frequent. Despite the fact that I am (deathly pale and thin/morbidly obese) and prefer (internet poker/collecting Star Wars figurines/Asian pornography) to socializing and physical activity, I think I may have a chance with this girl if I woo her properly. Ideally, I would like to win her over in passive-aggressive fashion, making eloquent remarks with regard to her qualities as a woman while subtly bashing the other male posters who undoubtedly share my desire for her.

What's my play?

Mia,

Use google to find horror conventions in your area, pretend you are a big fan of horror films, and then ask if she is going. Also, come up with a relatively obscure horror film, and then ask if she likes it.

SC,

Very subtle going with a seemingly innocuous horror movie question.

sigh.... ok, I have an internet crush on you now. I'm married, obv.

You might want to look into this:

My Name Is Bruce

Kind of a "Being John Malkovich" vibe with Bruce Campbell playing himself fighting zombies in a small Oregon town. Awesome.

After being in the presence of Michael Rooker for an extended period of time, do you think a normal man will ever again satisfy you on any level?

Tennenbaum,

Nice thread. I'm hoping to see more trip reports in the future. Here are some of my ideas, feel free to steal them if you like:

"Tennenbaum and Cathy go to the zoo."
"Tennenbaum and Cathy go to a concert."
"Tennenbaum and Cathy take a shower together."
