the ft chips are quite good. if they are still running that ironman promo you can get them by qualifying for the top ironman status two months in a row.

Run absolutely horrible all night, then make most of it back on one hand. Poker is fun. And the absolute awesomeness of this hand is made better by button's cold calling craziness.

PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is CO with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG raises, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets, Button calls, SB calls, BB caps, UTG calls, Hero calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop: (20 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB bets, BB raises, UTG calls, Hero 3-bets, Button calls, SB calls, BB caps, UTG calls, Hero calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn: (19 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB bets, UTG calls, Hero raises, Button calls, SB calls, BB 3-bets, UTG caps, Hero calls, Button calls $4 (All-In), SB calls, BB calls.

River: (39 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players, 1 all-in)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls.

Final Pot: 43 BB

Results in white below:
SB has 2h 2s (three of a kind, twos).
BB has Ac Ah (one pair, aces).
UTG has 7s 7d (three of a kind, sevens).
Hero has Ts Th (three of a kind, tens).
Button has 3d 3s (one pair, threes).
Outcome: Hero wins 43 BB.

Yeah, they'll make fun of you for minbet holdem, but that is a pretty impressive hand. Not only does it have the remarkable set over set over set, it has the ridonkulous button.

This hand would not be as much fun when in the Texas Unlimited Holdthem.

Nix would merely be the mayor of AllIn-ville at the flop. As a limit hand, hilarity ensues as we go from street to street.

Yeah I love how BB thinks his hand is still good enough to 3bet on the turn, and how button thinks he has a snowball's chance.

Default Far from NC, but don\'t know where else to post this.

Seriously, the most stressful time of graduate school is the absolute end. I am approaching it and I am stressed big-time. I have things to worry about that include, but are not limited to, 1) finishing experiments- and anyone who's never done them, there's always something holding you back from getting perfect results. 2) writing paper for said results. 3) Writing thesis, definitely a big one here. 4) FINDING A JOB. Seriously I'm finding this one to be the most stressful. My Ph.D. has limited my Chemical Engineering field to what I do in my research. This is what scares me the most. I have developed impeccable lab abilities, done a few internships along the way, but STILL... looking for jobs on the internet for what I do is nearly impossible. Including the fact that now that I'm married, I can't exactly go with the job that it seemed I was going to take in the first place. The jobs that I qualify for are here in CT for Hamilton Sundstrand, TX for NASA JSC, or CA for Honeywell. None of these places are places my wife or I want to eventually end up at. That means that I have to start fresh on my thought process for jobs.

PLEASE... someone who's been through this... HELP! I am stressed out and am turning to a NC thread for help. (pretty sad).
