P.S. Is 30% went to SD a bit high?

[/ QUOTE ]

not if you're winning ~60% of them

I've only ever had 1 $1000+ day and that was because I won a $20/180 stars SnG (on my birfday )

the biggest pot I've played so far is *still* $300 at a cash table (I lost) bah.

To those of you who play with one monitor on Full Tilt like I do...

What size monitor do you use and what resolution? (I have a 19 inch monitor w/ 1152 x 864 res.) How do you arrange the windows so that its easy to keep track of 4 tables?

just so you know Stars games have really eroded in quality in the last week. I have a huge db of mined Stars info -almost 6million hands.

In the last week I've datamined Stars the average SF% using PokerTracker is down ~5% at each level I've mined $200,$400 and $600 NLHE 6MAX.

Stars is just becoming another Absolute or Prima...the quality of games has really gone down. Not saying you cant find good games -you still can but the ratio of solid TAGS to fish has risen noticeably in the last 2 weeks and seems to be worsening at a very rapid rate.

Any really great non-nit $200 players move up. There are a ton more tags in these games then 1-2 weeks ago. Not being a doomsayer just being objective. PokerTracker dataming has shown all sites Prima, Stars and Fulltilt have tightened up noticeably in the last week-this will only get worse imo.

[/ QUOTE ]

This tightening up in the short term is only to be expected, after all who do you think jumps ship first the TAG players who post on forums like 2p2 with sections discussing the new legislation (I assume other poker forums with other good players that don't post here particularly have also been talking about the new bill etc as well) or the fish who mostly don't have a clue that Party is in meltdown yet?

Give it another week or so and lots of the fish base is going to shift sites as well to either Pokerstars or FT.

I think one of those 2 sites is about to get a whole lot looser and will become the market leader and the "new Party" - I doubt very much that the games will continue to get worse and worse. There are only so many TAGs to go around - and most of them will have moved already.

I confidently predict that in a months time when more of the dust has settled that Stars or Tilt will be the new market leader and will be playing much like Party did a month ago, i.e. very fishy with a ton of good easy games to select from.

I mean who plays on Paradise these days? and once upon a time it was THE place to play...

[/ QUOTE ]

Goodguy is true that the games are tightening up (although they are again loosening up IMO), but the TAGs I've seen at FTP 200nl are really bleh except for maybe a dozen of them. I would suspect my edge against them is really big and the 200nl FTP 6 max games in general. It's still not hard to find tables with two or three mediocre - bad loose players. I don't sit with tables full of tags generally but if I had to I would, they just aren't very good most of them.

I hope you guys are right!

I'm just pointing out a fact that since early this month FullTilt and Stars games have gotten much tighter pre-flop. I'm comparing datamined data post UIGEA to pre UIGEA on these networks. Doesnt mean doom just an observation. What really struck me is how the Stars games have tightened considerably. I dont think this is good for anyones earning power. Yes these players may be nits or play poorly post flop but I'd rather have 2-3 35%+VIP'ers than only 1. Obviously I'm generalizing right now but I think this is just a byproduct of the legislation-the games will not be nearly as good.

I hate you 23/20 guys. If I'm OOP to you I'll just leave the table. If I'm in position on you - prepare to be taken to 3-bet town !!!
