toohigh,
looks good. foster won't be great this week but should at least be someone you can play by matchup week to week. galloway seems like he'll pretty much never start given your other WR options. if that's not accepted, i'm not sure i'd give much more up though. |

all,
i've been offered a new trade. again, my team: WR TO boldin chambers lee evans houshmanzedhah kennison (might be dropped cuz ahman green just got put on the ww so i'm going to try to pick him up) RB portis kevin jones droughns travis henry TE jason witten league: start 3 wr, 2 rb, 1 TE, 20 yards/point, 6 pts for any TD i just got offered eric moulds and cadilac for boldin. here's the thing... i'm stacked at wr and playing matchups week to week with rb. i'm ok this week and next, but then sometimes things get kind of ugly. the guy offering the trade also has two TE, todd heap and kevin winslow. i think both are an upgrade over witten, so should i counter offer cady + heap/winslow for boldin? should i just not do the trade? |

xorbie, when making a trade you gotta consider your new roster vs your old one. in this instance its gonna be :
caddy+chambers+winslow vs. kjones+boldin+witten. so far this year kjones has been far better than caddy in terms of points. also, caddy has tendency to get injured. also, jones has easier schedule. boldin is simply a far better play here. chambers has been weak all year and is on a team that is falling apart. boldin has been consistent his whole career and should now recieve the most looks with fitz out. obv winslow is greater than witten but its not close to enough to overcome the other losses. i think you are way overvaluing caddy. if you really feel hes gonna blow up then i suppose this trade could work out. its just that i see you in the same boat in the next weeks, playing matchups at rb but without a top flight wr. |

Tatum since he is Denver's #1 is a pretty hot item. But I'm inclined to take Portis over him.
Bell's Game's Oak-Good Matchup Cle-Good Matchup Ind-Good Matchup @Pit-Bad Matchup @Oak-Good Matchup SDG-Horrible Matchup @KC-Bad Matchup Sea-Good Matchup @SDG-Horrible Matchup @Ariz-Good Matchup (during playoffs) Cin-Good Matchup (during Fantasy SB) Portis: Ten-Good Indy-Good Bye Dal-Decent @Phi-Decent @Tam-Good Car-Bad Atl-Bad Phi-Good @Nor-Good @Stl-Good Not as big of a fan of Clinton's schedule but I think Clinton is the better pickup. Looks like Tatum schedule is awesome during the playoffs this year for Fantasy, so that would be a huge edge for him if that's what your looking at although Clinton's aren't horrible. I'd go with Clinton, he get's TDs and has been used in short yardage situations this year more than last while Tatum hasn't scored a TD yet although the teams he's faced have been tough. |

[/ QUOTE ] wow thanks for the very well thought out reply. if you ever post a trade you are wondering about plz PM me and i will try to put in similar effort. Tatums schedule is def. a big factor imo. especially considering my [censored] up league has the SB in week 17 when they play SF. However I guess this could be a downside if the broncos have already clinched. hopefully the AFC is going to be competitive enough that they will still ahve somehitng to play for. |

Standard Yahoo Scoring - 12 man league
My team: QB: McNabb RB1: Rudi Johnson RB2: Kevin Jones/Tatum Bell depending on matchup WR1: Torry Holt WR2: Ron Brown WR3: Lee Evans TE: Tony Gonzales K: Wilkins DEF: San Diego Bench: (of note) Vick K Jones/Tatum His offer - (he's currently in last place - suffering all around) I'm (brag) undefeated in first. Tomlinson and Frye for Rudi and Vick. Would you do it? |

LT is a decent notch above rudi imo and you really arent losing much by getting rid of your backup QB since you are gonna start mcnabb most every week. |
