Default ($55) Who\'s Crazier: Me for pushing, or him for calling?

I don't have the HH, but this is how it went. Party $55, 3 left.

Blinds at 300-600
Hero ~5000
BB ~8000
Button ~7000

Hero dealt KcTc
Button folds
Hero raises to 1200
BB raises to 1800
Hero calls
Pot is 3600

Flop is Qc9h3d
Hero pushes for ~3200
BB calls with AsJs

Neither hand improves, BB wins with A high, I'm eliminated.

I'm sure there is plenty of room for discussion throughout the hand, but I'm curious about what everyone thinks of the flop push and subsequent call.

this hand is played horribly by all participants
after you dont push, he should be pushing
his call is ugly,

to answer your question though, because too many people on here post what you should have done, but not what to do in the case that you are in and whatnot
his call is crazier

FWIW, I don't think I was short enough that I had to push PF. I know min-raising doesn't sit well with a lot of 2+2ers, but at higher blinds, it is generally effective. As long as you don't mind seeing the occasional flop, that is. His hand was right about what I expected from previous play, which is why i cold-called and pushed a flop that I figured missed him. He would have called for sure if I'd pushed PF, and I didn't want that. What I didn't expect was the call, that had me scratching my head a bit. Meh, no regrets really, just a little surprised.

Quit being results oriented. Not pushing preflop is a leak. Minraising and folding to a push is an even bigger leak.

You're plenty short enough; you're pushing for 20% of your stack,
