Aces,

Just to elaborate little. Like you said, it's essentially Droughns for Bell. If Tatum was still splitting carries evenly with Mike then it'd be a decent trade, but it appears Tatum's locked the job up, at least barring injury/fumblitis. Droughns is dinged up. While MJD is playing well, it's still unclear whether he'll get enough opportunities to produce on a weekly basis. Jacobs is worthless except as a Tiki handcuff IMO.

If it were me, I'd counter to see if you could get a better WR than Brown. I'm assuming the wire is pretty devoid of WR talent if you've got Lloyd and Stokely on your roster?

I mean, the idea of the trade is right -- I think you could use another good WR -- but Droughns and Brown are both hurt (though probable to play) and neither have a lot of upside IMO.

I agree with most of this. I'm not completely sold on Tatum, yet -- Shanahan isn't trustworthy from a fantasy-perspective, and Bell has never had to carry for a full year -- but Droughns never gets into the end zone.

Stokley is left over from the draft -- we have to pay for moves and in a league this deep, there's just not much worth paying for, while I added Lloyd this week as a fill-in for Andre Johnson.

I'll see about getting another WR. He has Houshmandzadeh, Colston, and Reggie Williams. I'll counter for Colston.

I've been offered Anquan Boldin and Warrick Dunn For Steven Jackson.

We start 2 WR, 2 RB and a flex.

RB get 1 pt. for 20 yards rushing 1pt. for 20 yards receiving 6pt. for TD

WR get 1pt for 15 yards receiving 1pt for 20 yards rushing 6pt. for TD

My starters now are: Steven Jackson,Chester Taylor,Chad Johnson, Santana Moss. I have Ahman Green or Eddie Kennison to use as a flex.

It's a 12 team league and off to an 0-4 start. Should i make this trade?

Looks tempting but your RB's I think are too weak w/out S.Jacks and you already have 2 good WR's.

I was just offered Wayne and Rhodes for Chester Taylor and Branch.

My team:
QB -- Bulger, Kitna
RB -- Ronnie Brown, Maroney, Musa Smith, Mo Morris (to cover week 6 bye issues), Chris Perry
WR -- Steve Smith, Clayton, Furrey, other Clayton, Henry/K-Rob (will pick up K-Rob as my WR3 this week if I don't make the trade)
TE -- Gates
K -- Kaeding
DEF -- Colts

His team:
QB -- Favre, Alex Smith
RB -- Portis, Ahman Green, Chris Brown, Gado
WR -- Holt, D-Jax, Bryant, Jennings, Keyshawn Johnson
TE -- Heath Miller, Chris Baker
K -- Gould
DEF -- Ravens

Scoring: 25 pass yds/10 rush-rec yds for 1 pt., all TD worth 6
Starting lineup: QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, K, DEF

This trade seems like a good one for me, but I tend to get great value in drafts and then I make a trade that completely backfires. Is this one gonna blow up in my face in a couple weeks?

Basically, I'm super frustrated that my highest-scoring RB has been on my bench for four weeks while I watch Brown get 12 carries/game and Taylor gets a bunch of two-yard carries and loses 3rd downs to Moore and neither of them can find the damn endzone.

I try to avoid handcuff RB's but i think that's an ok deal. Even when Branch wasn't in a new offense he wasn't an especially productive fantasy player and while I like Taylor, Minnesota just doesn't score a lot.

Would you trade L. Tomlinson/M. Turner for P. Manning/throw-in WR? My other RBs are F. Gore, W. Parker, and C. Taylor. My current QBs are J. Plummer, A. Smith, and C. Frye (ugh).

If I don't make the deal, should keep Smith or Frye as my back-up?

How many of each do you start?

Smith > Frye.
