We don't plan to do anything. It's not what we do and we don't have the capability or the knowhow to do anything anyway. Our area of expertise is how to play poker hands and other aspects of gambling. It's not politics. We happen to be honest about what we can and can't do. So I wouldn't hold your breath expecting something dramatic from us.

It is a waste of money, and our attorney fees are very high, and it is also a waste of our attorney's time since we can't accomplish anything anyway. But we do listen to the concerns that people have on this site and in this case we thought it was worth the time and expense.

I think I speak for a lot of 2+2'ers when I say that we appreciate you taking the time to address this and that we now better understand the position 2+2 is in and what in can and can't do.

If I could make one off topic suggestion:

It would be great if the admins spent some more time in the strategy forums. I know you guys are busy so it doesn't have to be much. Just maybe an hour every few weeks responding to a few hands would spark some interesting debates I think and possibly move people understanding of the game forward.

To anyone who is in their 30's 40's 50's 60's 70's they will see what you are trying to say and I agree the murder of almost an entire race cannot be compared to banning online poker. BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT

Think about it from the other prospect. A few million 18 year olds playing online poker... Their favorite thing in the world above all else. They love the game you might even say addicted to the game. The U.S government just took AWAY the fav. thing the new american generation has.

The typical high school student these days get's about a 2 week lecture on WW2 in high school. What is learned in those 2 weeks..... Japan Bad Germany Bad Hitler Bad.

Ok so here we are.. present day The worst thing that could happen in a modern day 18 year olds head takes place he loses his internet poker. To him the worst thing in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD that could happen.

What did our student learn in 2 weeks in high school
Hitler = Bad Poker ban = bad
Republicans = Bad Republicans = Hitler

Slaughtering millions of ppl cannot compare to banning online poker but it's easy to see how the comparision is made.

When the DA of Scranton banned charity poker tournaments I wrote an article in the paper comparing him to the Gestapo
because he was taking money from firemen who needed equipment and the poker tournament he cancelled was for needy women and children in the city. It was a bad comparison he was just doing his job.

I think the avatar is funny most young people today will find the avatar funny..... older people..Jewish people will not find the avatar funny and they have DAM good reason not to like it.

But they should understand young ppl today never went through what you did don't really get to much exposure at school with what you went through and not to sound horrible but for the most part don't care...... They want internet poker, cheap gas, good jobs etc etc.

I'm 29 which is not that old but even at college I took a history course 1900-1960 and WW2 was basically like 1 or 2 weeks that's at the college level. High school history covers ancient egypt to Star Trek how deep can they really go????

govman: I'm 23. I just think invoking Nazism every time something pisses people off politically is stupid. I'm young but I've already seen way too many people take the path of, "I hate this guy, what's the worst thing I can call him...YOU NAZI!"

I'm not pissed off by it on moral principles, I just think it's dumb, and more importantly I hate it when people on "my side" look like jerks to everyone else. That Nazi-Frist avatar has already appeared on Google News attached to a story about the ban. Somehow I don't think that's good for us if Average Non-Poker Player happens to see it.
