My brother played this hand, how does it look? This is a $1 tourney on stars, i felt like he shoulda slowed down if not on the turn especially on the river. Whats your line?

He made a couple of basic errors.

1 Limping in early position with KJ it really cannot stand any heat pre flop and post flop even if you hit your hand as in this case you can never be sure it is good.

2. While the bet is fine on the flop the board pairs on the turn (is opponnent could have pretty much anything)I think slowing down might be wise but certainly he should have checked the river. In theory he will only get called by a hand that has him beat, although one can never tell in a Poker Stars $1 tourney.

Without reading the post, just based on the title, fold preflop. This avoids playing TPGK.
