Mutant League Football was entertaining, but doesn't really belong

[/ QUOTE ]

Dude, Mutant League Football and later Mutant League Hockey were pretty amazing as far as being fun goes. I even remember the Saturday Morning Cartoon based on MLF starring Casey Bones and Sugar Ray Lizard.

That [censored] was tight.

MLF was awesome. The all alien team >>> all

woah badass all the love for shadowrun! game is so sick!

shining force 1 and 2 were sweet.

DING DING DING WINNER

although i did like the SNES shadowrun, they are just entirely different games, and also the genesis shadowrun can be repetitive unless you use the cheat codes, then it can be incredibly short

Yeah. I use Greasemonkey scripts. I've been too lazy to do it for the "quote" reply option (which I still use at times), but here is one to jam stuff into the quick reply area:

<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>
var body_tag = document.getElementsByName("Body")[0]
if(body_tag.value=="") body_tag.value = "<font color="gray"></font>"
</pre><hr />

EDIT: In the last set of quotes, you'll need to put the code to have the color. View source to see it, as I guess the "code" blocks won't let the most relevant code here slip through.

Oh, and here's one to make that left nav thing be transparent instead of that sick green (it just happens to be the first TD tag in the document every time).

<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>
document.getElementsByTagName("TD")[0].bgColor = "transparent"
</pre><hr />

NES.

You guys are throwing out too many names.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yea, I doubt there's more than 5 Genesis games that should legitimately be canon. Is Toe Jam &amp; Earl really good enough?

The NES thread worked out fine - in this one people are just mentioning any game they used to like on Genesis.

Apparently you and I are the only ones that thought that this game was one of the very best ever on console. Great combination of action/shoot em up and strategy/WOW style gaming.

[/ QUOTE ]

I fully agree. I never had time to get good at Warcraft or anything that came out later, but man I used to love Herzog Zwei. Progress could get really slow on certain boards like Loch if both players are good. I played an 8 hour game against my friend once, from 1 to 9am one summer morning. I can't even remember who won.

Have to throw my vote to NHL 94 - it remains imo the greatest video game of all time. Perfect in its simplicity, with just enough realism to make it replayable day after day.
